Acting-Up
Educational Troupe

AET is a weekly theater class/club for ages 9-18 during school semesters.

Our Educational Troupe provides a supportive environment where students can explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop teamwork skills through engaging theatrical activities and small showcases.

Topic for 2024-2025: U.S. History

Content Pillars

  1. Theater technique - through games and weekly activities
     

  2. Skits and scenes - that are focused on our educational topic
     

  3. Music - taught with educational purpose and theory 
     

  4. Dance - basic steps along with possible musical theater songs

  • The Renaissance Period

  • Ancient Greek & Roman History 

  • Ancient Egypt & Israel History

Sign Up Information

Each child will receive an AET t-shirt and any materials needed, as well as an AET backpack.

 

  • $25 per/family for site and insurance fees/ semester 

  • $150 participation fee per child per semester (About 14 wks)

  • Payments are due at the beginning of each semester. 

 

This group is not performance driven. However, we will have an end of the year showcase in November and one in April. This is for students' families and our homeschool community.
