CAST

Jeff Nason as Kristofer Van Lisberg (Kris Kringle) – This is Jeff's 7th show with ActingUp! after a 30-year hiatus from the stage.  He met his wife while doing Shakespeare in college and is very thankful to be able to be in another show that his wife is involved in.

Camille Hamilton as Gracie Demarco (Susan Walker) – Camille is 13 and has been acting since she was 8. She loves performing on stage! One of her favorite roles was Little Ti Moune in "Once on This Island" and Tiny Tim in "Ba Humbug". She's excited to performing in another. A special thanks to ActingUp! for this amazing opportunity!

Sarah Rose as Cordelia Ragsdale (Doris Walker) – Sarah has loved the performing arts from a very young age, beginning dance classes at the age of three. Over the years, she has continued to dance/teach dance and has enjoyed singing with her church. She had the honor of being a part of her first ActingUp! production in the Spring of 2023, Fiddler on the Roof, and she is absolutely honored to once again share the stage with such talented people. Sarah would like to thank her family for their continued support, and ActingUp! for welcoming her like family. She gives glory to Jesus Christ for healing her from past health issues to be able to participate in this group and more than that, giving her hope for the days to come.

Joseph Galyean as Grady Williams (Fred Gailey) – Joseph has been writing independent projects ever since attending Film School at Cape Fear Community College. Though having recent experience with stage acting as Juror 5 in 12 Incompetent Jurors and Jacob Marley in Bah, Humbug! Scrooge’s Christmas Carol. Joseph would like to thank his film family for inspiring and encouraging him and his actual family for enabling his insane ideas.

Kyle Quittschreiber as Alex Mialdo (Announcer) – Kyle has been performing on stage since the age of 8. Now 24 years old, he has garnered extensive experience and has played many memorable roles throughout his career, including Harold Hill in "The Music Man," Scrooge in "A Christmas Carol," and the Great Gatsby in “The Great Gatsby Radio Show”.  He is thrilled to be a part of this production and is grateful to ActingUp! for giving him the opportunity to not only act but also step into the role of directing.

Hana Quittschreiber as Olivia Glatt (R.H. Macy/Mrs. Mara) – She has been performing for over 15 years and still gets a thrill every time she steps on stage. Some of her favorite roles have included, Lina Lamont in “Singing in The Rain,” Scuttle in “The Little Mermaid” and Daisy in “The Great Gatsby a Radio Show”. She would like to thank ActingUp! for creating a space where she gets to not only express herself, but also spend time with her friends and family doing the thing she loves most!

Anderson Lewis as Wallace Ainsley (Mr. Shellhammer/Mr. Mara) – Anderson has been acting for eight years and has been with ActingUp! Homeschool Theater for seven of those. His most notable roles include the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz" and Perchik in "Fiddler on the Roof". Anderson would like to thank Rachel and the entire ActingUp! group for providing an amazing space to learn and grow as an actor.

Kaitlyn McCrary as Virginia Gregg (1st Mother/Miss Prong) – The performing arts have been an integral part of Kaitlyn’s life since before she can remember.  Growing up in New Jersey, she participated in many avenues such as church choir, community theater, and opera.  Now, Kaitlyn balances being a wife and mother with assisting in over-seeing a local private classical Christian school.  In her free-time, Kaitlyn serves in the music ministry at her church and also assists her husband serving the student ministry.

Zoe Hemingway as Alice Frost (Second Mother/Charley the Priest) – Zoe is 17 and has been doing shows with Acting Up ever since she was 8 years old. Some of Zoe's favorite roles were Hodel from "Fiddler on the Roof" and Mayzie la Bird from "Seussical the Musical". Special thanks to the ActingUp! team and cast for being such a fun group to work with.

Isabella Boswell as Mary Ford (Effy/Postman) – I’m so excited to be a part of this show! Some of my favorite previous roles include Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical the Musical), Erzulie (Once on This Island) and Yente the Matchmaker (Fiddler on the Roof). Thank you so much to ActingUp! and my family for your never-ending support! Enjoy the show!

Corrie Lee Boehling as Betty Garde (Dr. Pierce/Mortimer) – I am thrilled to work with this incredible cast on Miracle on 34th St! Some of my favorite past roles have included Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), Ironblade (The Agape League), and the Foreman (12 Incompetent Jurors). I am so thankful for the Acting Up team who makes this possible, my family for all their support, and for God, who gives me purpose. Enjoy the show!

Phillip B.jpg

Phillip Bernier as Dr. Pepper – Phillip currently leads worship each week at the Carolina Beach campus of Lifepoint Church. He also enjoys performing with his whole family of 8 in their Bernier Family Variety Show, with the hope of shining a bright light in dark places. Most recently, he was honored to take on the role of Willy Wonka, with Snow Productions here in Wilmington, and is excited to add “Foley Artist” to his list of musical entertainment adventures with his newest stage family at ActingUp!

Riley M.jpg

Riley McCrary as Mr. Pibb – Riley is a whirlwind of unpredictability. Some pastimes he enjoys are listening to and producing his own music, and playing the drums in his church’s worship band. Out of the many interests he has, acting is a fairly new one. Miracle on 34th Street will be his first performance as an actor in a play.

Dori N.jpg

Dori Nason (Costumes) – Dori considers it a joy to be costuming her ActingUp! Family again.  Recently, she has costumed with OHTC and TACT and even won a costume design award with Stephanie Aman for TACT's The Wedding Singer.  She is thankful for her family and all the little miracles she has personally been blessed with while working on this show.
